Loving & Learning Under the Rainbow

The Rainbow Room is a distinctly Christian preschool. Our program is designed to meet the spiritual, educational, and physical development of your child. Our primary goal is to integrate Christian principles into the total program. We are dedicated to providing your child with a Christian centered education.

Spiritual Development

Bible Stories, music, and simple moral lessons will be used to help your child experience the difference that Jesus can make in his or her life. Prayer will guide the teachers and students in their spiritual and educational growth.

Personal Development

The emotional and social development of your child will be supported by our loving staff. Development of self-confidence and independence will be encouraged. Sharing and cooperation with other children as well as adults will be part of our learning process.

Physical Development:

Large muscle coordination will be developed through games and musical expression. Small muscle coordination will be developed through activities such as cutting, peg boards, play dough, stringing beads, etc.

Educational Development

The Rainbow Room provides a structured learning environment that will allow your child to grow and think independently within a safe and secure setting. Your child will learn colors, shapes, letters and numbers. Printing will be introduced in the 4 year old program. . In house field trips and theme-related lessons will be scheduled throughout the year. We also encourage the sharing of special talents from family members.

Eligibility

1. Children who are 4 years old by September 1st will be eligible for enrollment in the 4 year old class.

2. Children who are 3 years old by September 1st will be eligible for enrollment in the 3 year old class.

3. All children must be potty trained prior to the start of classes.

Application Policies

1. Classes will be filled in the order the application is received.

2. Class size in the 3 year old class will be limited to 16 students while the 4 year old class will be limited to 20.

3. Our school does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, gender, or national origin.
